Do you feel like you’ve taken a wrong turn in your Career Choice?
Don't beat yourself up about it... the average person changes careers every 10 years according to some statistics. One major factor that influences this statistic is job satisfaction.
-
Think about it. What influenced you to take the jobs that you have to date?
-
Was it your parents who wanted you to be something you didn't want to be?
-
Did you have to settle for something that you thought was your only option at the time?
-
Did your interests change over time, and the things you value today are not what they were 5, 10, or even 20 years ago?
You are not alone. Many people go to a job every day that they hate. They may have been the "right" job to some people, or at some time, but no longer are they happy doing what they do.
It's not Too Late

We need good leaders and contractors. Are you up for it?
Don't fool yourself into thinking you're going to just walk into a foreman's or contractor's position without paying your dues and earning your ticket. It's not that easy, but the key word here is earning. You'll earn while you learn. And not barely earn, during training you'll earn enough to live comfortably.
Earning an apprenticeship is an incredibly rewarding personal experience, and once you have your ticket you'll be able to blend it with your previous experience and apply it accordingly.
